EMPLOYER: Greensmere Golf & Country Club Inc.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  1. Culinary education and/or a minimum one (1) year experience in food and beverage operation;
  2. Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  3. Strong organizational and team leadership skills;
  4. Dedicated to an extremely high level and standard of food quality;
  5. Highly creative and motivated towards leading edge food styles.
Duties Include:
  1. Preparation and cooking of food in the clubhouse;
  2. Helps with smooth operation of tournament, league and event meals;
  3. Assists with the tournament, league, member and daily specials;
  4. Ensures that all food leaving the kitchen is accurate and portioned correctly;
  5. General maintenance and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment and appliances;
  6. As required, assists with necessary maintenance of hood exhaust fans and all refrigeration and freezer equipment;
  7. Ensures there is always food prepared and ready for use;
  8. Assists, as required, with receiving deliveries;
  9. Assists to maintain efficient stock controlling methods for all kitchen-related products;
  10. Washing dishes and cutlery as necessary;
  11. Works cohesively with Lounge Manager, kitchen and beverage cart staff;
  12. Communicates professionally and directly with the food & beverage team;
  13. Other duties that arise or as may be assigned.
