Job summary

Toro Aluminum is seeking dependable Line Assembly Workers for our Vaughan production team in a unionized environment. You will perform hands-on general labour and assembly duties within a single department, handling materials, tools and components to support daily production and meet high standards.

Careful lifting of up to 50 lbs, use of hand tools, and reading blueprints are part of the role. Good English communication and reliability are essential for success in this team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy or industrial manufacturing required.
• Window/door manufacturing experience is a strong asset.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Reading blueprints/shop drawings is an asset.
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written) required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
• Willingness to work within a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Line assembly including measuring, fitting, fastening and quality checks.
• General labour tasks such as material handling, staging and keeping a clean workspace.
• Use of hand tools; power tools considered an asset.
• Consistently lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Read and interpret blueprints or shop drawings (asset).
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe, unionized workplace.
