Toro Aluminum is expanding and hiring dependable Line Assembly Workers to join our production team in a unionized manufacturing environment. Each successful candidate will be assigned to one dedicated department, allowing you to build skill depth and consistency in your area.

Position Overview

As a Line Assembly Worker, you will perform hands‑on general labour and assembly duties within a single department. You’ll work with materials, tools, and components to support daily production and ensure products meet Toro’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Line assembly work such as measuring, fitting, fastening, and performing quality checks
• Perform general labour tasks including material handling, staging, and maintaining a clean work area
• Use hand tools; power tools considered an asset
• Consistently lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Read and interpret blueprints or shop drawings (asset)
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe, unionized workplace

Qualifications

• Experience in a heavy or industrial manufacturing environment is required
• Experience within the window and/or door manufacturing industry is a strong asset
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable using hand tools; familiarity with power tools is an asset
• Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings is an asset

Compensation: $22.60 per hour (plus shift premium for Night Shift)
