Job summary

Kent Building Supplies is seeking a retail sales associate to help customers understand needs and select products while delivering friendly service.

You will stay informed about promotions, assist with orders using the store system, and work rotating shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Friendly and effective communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Previous experience in customer service and/or sales, gained through work life experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable lifting up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to workdays/evening/weekends (rotating shifts).
• Willing and able to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D635) used to process orders.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent considered an asset.
