Job summary

Spring Villa Hotel Ltd in Harrison Hot Springs, BC invites applications for a Light duty cleaner. This is a permanent, full-time position starting as soon as possible with 40 hours per week.

Key duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, bed making, stocking supplies, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and responding to guests' requests. English fluency is required and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum floors and furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets; stock linen and towels.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchens and bathrooms.
• Disinfect elevators and other areas as needed.
• Respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies or items.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Clean windows, walls, and ceilings; rooms and showers.
• Work in a fast-paced environment; long hours may be required.

• The candidate will be expected to dust furniture.
• The candidate will be expected to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate will be expected to make beds and change sheets.
• The candidate must distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• The candidate must stock the linen closet.
• The candidate will be expected to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate must disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting elevators.
• The candidate must handle and report lost and found items.
• The candidate must respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• The candidate will be responsible for picking up debris and emptying trash cans.
• The candidate will be expected to clean the windows, walls, and ceilings.
