Job summary

Best Western Fernie Plus Mountain Lodge in Fernie, BC is hiring a hotel cleaner who is self-motivated with good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. This is a permanent full-time position with day and weekend shifts.

The role includes cleaning floors, dusting, vacuuming, making beds, restocking towels, disinfecting fixtures, and handling guest requests. Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• Pick up debris and empty trash cans.

Job Requirements
