Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking a part-time cleaner to join our facilities team. You will perform routine cleaning of offices, washrooms and common areas, and ensure waste is properly disposed.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and the ability to pass a federal background check. We value reliability and adherence to health and safety standards.

Location is in the Moncton area with training provided and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience performing general cleaning tasks in an office or facilities setting.
• Ability to follow health and safety regulations.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them; ensure washrooms stay clean and in order.
• Replenish toiletries and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Transport garbage to bins or compactor for disposal.
• Sweep, mop floors and dust furniture; vacuum carpets.
• Disinfect and polish fixtures in washrooms and touch surfaces.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and report issues as required.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs; other duties may be assigned.

General Description

A cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning work including dusting of offices, vacuuming, the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, washrooms, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin.

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them, ensures washrooms are clean and in proper order
• Replenish supply of amenities such as: toilet paper, paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Transports garbage from drop points to garbage bins or compactor.
• Sweep, mop floors and dust furniture, vacuum carpets
• Disinfect and polish stainless stain fixtures and appliances in the washroom, door handles, walls and countertops.
• Participate in all training relevant and as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
• Report any damaged or broken utilities to the supervisor.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.
