Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a part-time cleaner to join our team in Canada. Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, cleaning washrooms, and emptying garbage, with attention to health and safety guidelines.

The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, ability to follow established procedures, and passing a Federal Background Check. Training will be provided, and accommodations available during recruitment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them; ensure washrooms are clean and in proper order.
• Replenish amenities such as toilet paper, paper towel, soap, and hand sanitizer.
• Transport garbage from drop points to bins or compactor.
• Sweep, mop floors and dust furniture; vacuum carpets.
• Disinfect and polish stainless steel fixtures and appliances in washrooms and on countertops.
• Report any damaged utilities to the supervisor; participate in training as required.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs; additional duties may be required.

General Description

A cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning work including dusting of offices, vacuuming, the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, washrooms, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin.

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them, ensures washrooms are clean and in proper order
• Replenish supply of amenities such as: toilet paper, paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Transports garbage from drop points to garbage bins or compactor.
• Sweep, mop floors and dust furniture, vacuum carpets
• Disinfect and polish stainless steel fixtures and appliances in the washroom, door handles, walls and countertops.
• Participate in all training relevant and as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
• Report any damaged or broken utilities to the supervisor.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.
