Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a part-time cleaner to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role involves cleaning offices and washrooms, restocking supplies, and ensuring general site cleanliness.

You will work Tuesday and Friday for 3 hours each, with responsibilities including waste disposal, floor care, disinfecting surfaces, and reporting issues to supervision. A successful candidate must pass a criminal background check and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Experience in janitorial cleaning of offices and washrooms.

• Reliable and punctual.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them; keep washrooms clean and orderly.
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and hand sanitizer.
• Transport garbage from drop points to bins or a compactor.
• Sweep, mop floors; dust furniture and vacuum carpets.
• Disinfect and polish fixtures and surfaces in washrooms and on counters.

General Description

A cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning work including dusting of offices, vacuuming, the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, washrooms, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin.

Schedule

Part Time, Tuesday 3hrs, Friday 3hrs

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them, ensures washrooms are clean and in proper order
• Replenish supply of amenities such as: toilet paper, paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Transports garbage from drop points to garbage bins or compactor.
• Sweep, mop floors and dust furniture, vacuum carpets
• Disinfect and polish stainless stain fixtures and appliances in the washroom, door handles, walls and countertops.
• Participate in all training relevant and as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
• Report any damaged or broken utilities to the supervisor.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.
