Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a dedicated cleaner in Canada to maintain offices, washrooms and common areas. You will dust, vacuum, mop floors and ensure waste is properly managed throughout the day.

This full-time role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, restock supplies, follow health and safety guidelines, and pass a criminal background check. Training and accommodations available as needed.

Qualifications

• Dust and clean offices, vacuum, mop floors and maintain washrooms.
• Restock amenities such as toilet paper, towels, soap and hand sanitizer.
• Transport garbage to bins and keep drop points tidy.
• Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Empty garbage containers and reline them, ensure washrooms are clean and in proper order.
• Replenish supply of amenities such as: toilet paper, paper towel, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Transports garbage from drop points to garbage bins or compactor.
• Sweep, mop floors and dust furniture, vacuum carpets
• Disinfect and polish stainless stain fixtures and appliances in the washroom, door handles, walls and countertops.
• Participate in all training relevant and as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
• Report any damaged or broken utilities to the supervisor.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.

General Description: A cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning work including dusting of offices, vacuuming, the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, washrooms, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin.
