Town of Banff is seeking two casual aquatic staff to plan, deliver and facilitate aquatics programs for residents of Banff. Duties include lifeguarding public swimming and Swim for Life instruction, focusing on swimming ability and lifesaving skills.
You will maintain safety, assist with program setup, use Univerus for registrations, respond to inquiries, and uphold the National Lifeguard standard. Start in September; shifts vary with a minimum of one per week; hourly rate starts at CAD 27.74

This position is currently contracted to December 31, 2027, in accordance with the Town of Banff’s agreement with Sally Borden Fitness and Recreation. In the event the agreement is extended, there is potential for this term agreement to be extended as well.
Hourly Rate of Pay: Starts at $27.74 with and additional $1.00 per hour for instructional time.
Work Schedule: hours of work will vary but acommit to a minimum of one shift a week or help to cover shifts in times of sickness, vacation or when additional staffing is needed for certain programs.
Anticipated Position Start Date: beginning of September.
