Job summary

Movati Athletic Inc. is seeking a friendly Member Experience Associate to deliver outstanding service, manage member concerns, and promote club programs in a busy retail/fitness environment. The role includes handling sales, administrative tasks, and supporting member events to enhance the overall experience.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ years of customer service, and current CPR & First Aid. Availability Monday to Friday, afternoons/evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional customer service certifications/workshops are assets.
• 1+ years of customer service experience in related industries (retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness).
• Current CPR & First Aid are required and must be maintained through employment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and resolve member concerns and escalate to Management as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to retail operations (cafe and pro-shop).
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed and maintained safely and timely.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, products, and services and promote them to club members.
• Responsible for all sales transactions.
• Complete all administrative tasks accurately and promptly with high-level service.
• Assist with member experience events throughout the club.

Your typical work day will be full of interaction and engagement with guests, which also means ensuring they receive the best experience possible from the moment they walk in our doors.

Role

Our Member Experience Associate is responsible for promoting outstanding customer service practices and striving to continuously improve the member experience. You will also:

• Proactively manage and resolve all member concerns, and escape serious concerns to the Management team for resolution
• Provide exceptional customer service to retail operations (cafe and pro-shop)
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed and maintained in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, products, and services, as well as promote them to club members
• Responsible for all sales transactions
• Completes all administrative tasks accurately, diligently and promptly with consistent5 Star customer service
• Assists with member experience events throughout the club as needed

Hourly wage range: $17.60 - $23.00/hour.

• The posting is for an existing, currently open position.

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.

Availability

• Monday to Friday
• Afternoon, Evening, Closing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is considered an asset. Additional certifications or workshops related to customer service is strongly preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a related industry is an asset (i.e. retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.)
• Current CPR & First Aid are required and must be maintained through employment
