Job summary

CHIMO Youth Retreat Centre is seeking a passionate Life Program Coordinator to develop and facilitate engaging LIFE Program activities for youth. The role combines program development, youth engagement, group facilitation, recreation programming, and community outreach to support young people in gaining independence and meaningful community connections.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and facilitate LIFE Program activities and group sessions for youth.
• Plan programming focused on life skills, emotional regulation, education, employment readiness, recreation, culture, and community engagement.
• Build therapeutic relationships with youth to encourage participation and growth.
• Create monthly program schedules and coordinate community activities and outings.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, schools, and agencies to enhance programming.
• Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and improve offerings.
