Horizon School Division is seeking an Educational Assistant to support a high school student in a Life Skills Program at Arden T Litt. Learning Centre in Grassy Lake, Alberta.

The role runs about 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30–3:10, and focuses on fostering independence and social development in an inclusive learning environment. Qualifications

• Support a high school student enrolled in a Life Skills Program.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Assist with daily learning activities and promote independence and social development.

Responsibilities

• Encourage students to develop and maintain positive interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide patient, supportive care.
• Assist with personal care including toileting, diapering, feeding, dressing, grooming.
• Ensure student safety, supervise equipment, and respond to incidents as needed.
• Collaborate with the student’s learning team to support progress.
