Job summary

UL Solutions in Toronto offers a hybrid role (3 days in office) testing and certifying fire alarm, access control, and smoke detection systems to UL standards. You will manage certification projects and coordinate testing with clients.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in Electrical Engineering, strong communication and project management skills, and customer-facing experience; travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical engineering.
• Customer-facing experience required.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Experience with fire and smoke detection, access control, and related systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines project scope, cost, time, and sample requirements by analyzing client input.
• Coordinates testing activities and drafts test plans.
• Provides technical guidance to clients and discusses UL procedures.
• Communicates project status and results to clients.
