Job summary

RBC Insurance in Edmonton is seeking self-motivated Field Sales professionals to join our team. You will provide integrated life, health & wealth advice to your referrals and new RBC clients, leveraging your network and an internal support team.

You will prospect, build a new book of business, and use Salesforce to manage client relationships while meeting clients where it’s convenient. A strong emphasis on client-first service and ethical sales practices is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional sales experience and a goal-oriented mindset.
• Life/A&S license (HLLQP/LLQP) or willingness to complete before start date.
• Existing network of referrals and approved centers of influence.
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• Digital literacy across multiple systems and tools.
• Valid Canadian driver's license and own vehicle to meet clients.

Responsibilities

• Connect with clients through discovery to assess needs and provide insurance and financial advice.
• Independently prospect, develop, and grow a new book of business via outreach, networking and relationship-building.
• Promote a client-first mindset in a digital environment by meeting clients when it is most convenient.
• Develop client relationships using Salesforce and compliant tools/electronic forms.
• Contribute to team sales success by achieving individual sales goals.
• Expand networks through referrals from approved centers of influence.
• Regularly review results and adjust activities to meet targets.
• Deliver RBC’s vision to be among the world’s most trusted financial institutions.
