Job summary

Purolator, located at Calgary South depot, is seeking a Licensed Tradesperson to maintain, diagnose, test, and repair material handling equipment (MHE) to ensure high uptime and safety compliance.

The role requires 5 years of electrician or millwright experience, specialized training, and licenses 442A or 433A. Proficiency in English is essential for frequent communications with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Completion of specialized courses normally taught in community or recognized specialty colleges (about 3 academic years).
• Licensed Industrial Electrician Certificate (442A) is required for electrician roles.
• Licensed Industrial Millwright Certificate (433A) is required for millwright roles.
• Five years of experience as an electrician or millwright installing, maintaining, diagnosing, or repairing MHE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance on material handling equipment (MHE) to keep equipment in good repair and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical failures to minimize downtime and protect service delivery.
• Inspect and monitor material handling equipment and related facilities.
• Prepare and maintain safety and operational reports.
• Coordinate and document work orders in the CMMS.
