Job summary

Purolator is seeking a Licensed Industrial Electrician to maintain, diagnose, test and repair MHE and automated conveyor systems at our Ontario Hub in Etobicoke. You will ensure equipment operates with minimal downtime while adhering to health and safety standards.

Minimum 3–5 years in an automated maintenance environment, possession of a 442A certificate, and ability to solder electronics, troubleshoot PLC systems, and work in tight spaces are required. Proficiency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Min. 3–5 years in automated maintenance environments.
• Proficient in electronics soldering and repairing components.
• Working knowledge of PLC systems and automatic sorter equipment.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify solutions to hardware and software issues.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components of automated conveyor systems and sortation equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults (motors, sensors, encoders, safety devices).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, MCCs, and power distribution systems.
• Interpret schematics and manuals to support troubleshooting and repairs.
