Job summary

Cogir Senior Living, via Hollyburn House in Vancouver, seeks a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join a compassionate, resident-centered care team.

You will provide planned nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support personalized resident plans while maintaining accuracy in documentation and communication. Weekday scheduling and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the applicable province.
• Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge.
• Experience working with seniors and with unregulated care providers preferred.
• Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long term care an asset.
• Strong drive, respect and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role.
• Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft office applications.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required.
• Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Sunday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Monday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
