The Work You Will Do

As a Licensed/Registered Practical Nurse, you will meet the diverse needs of the clients you serve in your community by providing a wide range of nursing services:

• Build relationships while working one-on-one with your clients to provide care in their own home; deliver the highest quality home health care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
• Provide client care by using the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, and counseling.
• Provide care according to the established care plan or medical directive, ensuring that the emotional and physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent.
• Perform routine and specialized nursing duties (as qualified) in accordance with company policies and procedures and Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
• Provide care including standard care services as well as specialized, client-specific procedures when required.

Positions open to RPNs/LPNs who have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current registration with the provincial licensing body.

Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Candidates who have been offered a position are required to provide:

• A clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening.
• Proof of being free from TB.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two supervisory references.
