Classic LifeCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support pediatric clients in Calgary. The casual position focuses on delivering high-quality home care for children, under the supervision of our nursing coordinators.

The role emphasizes safety, empathy, and family-centered care. Ideal candidates are registered LPNs in Alberta with CPR, a clear vulnerable sector screen, and the ability to document care via a smartphone.

Qualifications

• Must hold current LPN registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance required.
• Latest tuberculosis screening required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to complete basic documentation via smartphone.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for infants and children.
• Assisting with enteral tube feeding as needed.
• Administering medications.
• Conducting catheterizations and catheter care.
• Monitoring and managing respiratory conditions.
• Providing tracheostomy care (training provided).
• School-related assignments in the morning may be involved.
