Job summary

Classic LifeCare is hiring Pediatric Float LPNs in Calgary, AB. We welcome both experienced nurses and new grads to join our pediatric team, with a focus on building strong client relationships in home care.

You’ll work with a compassionate team dedicated to matching employees to the right clients for exceptional care. The role requires CLPNA registration, CPR, criminal record checks, and a vehicle with a valid license.

Qualifications

• Valid registration with the CLPNA (required).
• Clear Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector clearance (required).
• Latest tuberculosis screening test (required).
• Current CPR certification (required).
• Ability to complete basic documentation via smartphone.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle for transportation (required).

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for infants and children.
• Assisting with enteral tube feeding.
• Administering medications.
• Conducting catheterizations and catheter care.
• Monitoring and managing respiratory conditions.
• Providing tracheostomy care (training provided).
• School assignments in the morning for back-to-school, community and home care may be involved.
