Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide bedside care in a Med Surg unit in Lewiston, Maine. Night shifts; 12-week assignment. You will monitor vital signs, assist with medications, IV therapy, and blood draws, and support care plans.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications, and a current BLS. One year of Med Surg experience is required. Weekly pay and dedicated career specialists accompany you through the assignment.

Overview:

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Department: Med Surg

Shifts Available: Nights

Pay: up to $1,680 - $2,100 gross pay per week; equivalent to $40.00–$50.00 per hour.

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment


• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes


• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws


• Support care plans and patient throughput


• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams


• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance


• Document care in EMR/EHR systems


• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.


• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required


• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.


• One (1) year of LPN Med Surg experience required.
