Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a Maine assignment. The role involves nocturnal shifts in a Med Surg department with patient-centered care, staffing oversight, and direct clinical duties.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS, plus at least one year as a charge nurse in Med Surg. Pay ranges from $56.00 to $64.00 per hour, with weekly pay and dedicated support from career specialists.

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license.
BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
Minimum one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.
PALS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
