Job summary

Northern Health’s Dunrovin Park is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver compassionate patient care under supervision. The LPN applies Nursing Process, conducts assessments, plans and provides nursing care, and may direct other staff within BCCNM standards.

In partnership with clients and families, the LPN supports efforts to achieve and sustain optimal health, aligning with organizational policies and unit protocols while contributing to a client-centered care model.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Clinical Supervisor or designate, the Licensed Practical Nurse applies Nursing Process, performs assessments, plans, provides nursing care, and may provide direction to other staff.
The LPN operates in accordance with the expected competencies within the Entry to Practice Competencies, Scope of Practice and Standards of Practice as outlined by BCCNM, as well as within a client and family centered care model and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards and unit specific protocols.
