Northern Health - BC is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join Mountainview Lodge. You will perform the nursing process, assess patients, plan and deliver compassionate care, and support families within a client-centered model.

The role involves daytime and evening shifts across 07:00–13:30 and 15:00–21:00 with rotating schedules. Strong BC LPN registration and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered LPN in British Columbia with current practicing registration.
• Competent in applying the nursing process and care planning.
• Ability to support clients and families within a client-centered care model.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Clinical Supervisor or designate, the Licensed Practical Nurse applies Nursing Process, performs assessments, plans, provides nursing care, and may provide direction to other staff. The LPN operates in accordance with the expected competencies within the Entry to Practice Competencies, Scope of Practice and Standards of Practice as outlined by BCCNM, as well as within a client and family centered care model and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards and unit specific protocols. The LPN will support clients and families to achieve and maintain optimal health by performing the following duties and responsibilities.
