Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collecting patient information for admission, including medical records and pretreatment formalities.
  • Record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, respiration, and heartbeat.
  • Help prepare patients for medical examinations.
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and re-prioritize care based on patient condition.
  • Establish rapport with patients and understand their care requirements.
  • Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to clients and families.
  • Promote patient independence by setting care goals, educating about conditions, medications, and self-care, and addressing questions.
  • Ensure quality care by adhering to standards, evaluating health outcomes, and making necessary adjustments according to regulations.
  • Resolve client issues using multidisciplinary team strategies.
  • Document patient care accurately in records.
  • Maintain effective communication within the healthcare team and participate in problem-solving.
  • Contribute to team efforts to achieve common goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Current LPN License in the state of operation.
  • High School Diploma and Licensed Practical Nurse diploma required.
  • Knowledge of drug and alcohol treatment preferred.
  • Ability to interpret written information, communicate clearly, and participate effectively in meetings.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace tools such as Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
