Job summary

Baptist Housing Sun Pointe Village in Kelowna, British Columbia is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time role on 12-hour shifts (0800-2000). You will provide hands-on nursing care, medication administration, assessments, and care plan implementation in a resident-centered team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized LPN program.
• Current registration with BCCNM in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge including medication administration.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures within LPN scope of practice
• Monitor resident health status and report changes to the care team
• Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans

About The Role

We have a full time position available. 12 hour shifts, 0800-2000.

As an LPN, you will play a critical role in supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. You will provide hands‑on nursing care, including medication administration, assessments, and the development and implementation of individualized care plans.

Working closely with Registered Nurses and the interdisciplinary team, you will support complex care needs while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. You will also contribute to wellness initiatives that enhance residents’ quality of life.

By building strong relationships and maintaining accurate documentation, you help foster a culture of compassionate, resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

• An hourly compensation ranging from $32.84 – $41.35. Additional benefits may be available in accordance with the collective agreement
