Job summary

Baptist Housing is hiring an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Sun Pointe Village in Kelowna, BC. This full-time role features 12-hour shifts (08:00–20:00) and involves hands-on nursing care, medication administration, assessments, and care plan development within an interdisciplinary team.

The position emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care, strong documentation, and collaboration with RNs to support complex needs and residents’ dignity.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
• Current registration and good standing with BCCNM.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge including medication administration and resident assessment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures within LPN scope of practice.
• Monitor resident health status and report changes to the care team.
• Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans.

About the Role

We have a full time position available. 12 hour shifts, 0800-2000.

As an LPN, you will play a critical role in supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. You will provide hands-on nursing care, including medication administration, assessments, and the development and implementation of individualized care plans. Working closely with Registered Nurses and the interdisciplinary team, you will support complex care needs while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. You will also contribute to wellness initiatives that enhance residents’ quality of life. By building strong relationships and maintaining accurate documentation, you help foster a culture of compassionate, resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

• An hourly compensation ranging from $32.84 – $41.35.
• Additional benefits may be available in accordance with the collective agreement.
