Job summary

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinical team in BC. You will assess patients, participate in care planning, and deliver nursing care in line with BCCNM standards and FHA policies.

The successful candidate will contribute to team-based care, support family involvement, and help maintain a safe, efficient care environment while pursuing professional growth within Fraser Health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program.
• Current practicing registration as an LPN with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient/resident/family health needs and develop care plans.
• Provide nursing care following policies and FHA standards.
• Document observations and report changes to staff.
• Perform admissions, discharges, and transfers per policy.
• Maintain safe, clean environment for patients and staff.
• Assist in orientation of new staff and students.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and team meetings.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning and family conferences.
• Support patient/family involvement in care decisions.
