Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent.
• Current practicing registration as an LPN with BCCNM.
• Ability to administer medications per policy and scope.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs across physical, psychological, and cultural factors.
• Provide a supportive environment and involve patients in care decisions.
• Contribute to care planning through multidisciplinary meetings.
• Deliver nursing care per policies and record observations accurately.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers following policies.
• Document care activities to ensure safety and comfort.
• Operate and maintain equipment required for patient care.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.
• Assist in orienting new staff and students.
• Participate in quality improvement and education activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
