Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating in the delivery of holistic care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN practices to full scope, applying professional nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills to support safe care and positive health outcomes. Additional Required Qualifications:

Emergency experience required (Note: Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered). This position requires you be on your feet for an extended period (walking and standing), and you must be able to assist in transporting, lifting and positioning of patients. You will also be required to bend, lift, push, and pull. Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced practice courses (ACLS, PALS, etc.) preferred. Intravenous (IV) certification preferred (required upon hire). Connect Care EHR/ EPIC and ENPEP training preferred (required upon hire). CLHA Restricted Activities Modules: Administering Diagnostic Imaging Contrast Agents, Fetal Heart Monitoring, Non-Ionizing Radiation, Administering Blood and Blood Products: Transfusion, Dispending of Medications and Immunization preferred (required upon hire).
