The Licensed Practical Nurse will execute tasks performed in compliance with study protocol, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Please note that this is a variable status position.**What You'll Do Here*** Training/mentoring of Clinical Operations team members.* Ensure the confidentiality of clinical trial participants and sponsors is respected.* Continuously assess safety improvement opportunities and proactively communicate issues and/or problem resolutions to departmental supervisors and managers.* Perform clinical trial activities including but not limited to safety assessments and blood collection.* Administer medication, perform ECG, and assess vital signs.* Monitor, document and/or follow-up on participant adverse events.* Maintain and advocate a high level of customer service, quality, and safety within the department.* Other tasks assigned by management.**What You'll Need to Succeed*** Vocational Training Health, Assistance & Nursing required.* Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ) permit is required* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and industry specific manuals.* Ability to write reports and correspondence.* Bilingual proficiency in French/English required* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Well-developed interpersonal skills are required.* Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.* Ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.* Capable of managing multiple conflicting priorities.* Must be self-directed, motivated, and have a willingness to take the initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.* Relevant industry experience a plus.* Customer service focused, able to work in fast-paced environment.Altasciences strives to provide a French working environment for its employees in Quebec.
