Altasciences in Laval, QC is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to oversee safety and consent of trial participants, and to maintain safety equipment in compliance with GCP and SOPs. The role includes safety monitoring, IP administration, and adverse event follow-up, with responsibilities across multiple study activities.

The on-site position at our Montreal site offers full-time hours, with weekend availability and a structured training period.

Qualificações

• DEC from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Permit from the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec (OIIQ) required.
• Fluency in English and French.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled inspection of emergency crash carts and maintain records.
• Monitor participant safety and adverse events during trials.
• Administer Investigational Product and assist in catheter installation as per protocol.
• Ensure confidentiality of participants and sponsors.
• Provide feedback on study progress to team members.
• Assist in study-related consenting and participant screenings.

About The Role

The Clinical Research Nurse will oversee the safety and consent of clinical trial participants during study conduct and the maintenance of safety equipment. The Clinical Research Nurse will execute tasks performed in compliance with study protocol, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The Clinical Research Nurse will oversee the safety and consent of clinical trial participants during study conduct and the maintenance of safety equipment. The Clinical Research Nurse will execute tasks performed in compliance with study protocol, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

What You’ll Do Here

• Perform scheduled inspection of emergency crash carts, inventory/inspect the contents, and maintain up to date records.
• Ensure the confidentiality of clinical trial participants and sponsors is respected.
• Perform clinical trial activities including but not limited to, continuous safety monitoring, safety assessments, Investigational Product (IP) administration and catheter installation.
• Monitor, document and/or follow-up on participant adverse events.
• Maintain and advocate a high level of patient care, quality, and safety within the department.
• May assist in study related consenting with participant screenings.
• Provide feedback, where necessary, to appropriate team members of study progress.
• Proactively communicate issues and/or problem resolutions to departmental supervisors and managers.
• May train employees on clinical trial activities associated to their job’s needs.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• DEC from accredited Registered Nurse program required
• Permit from the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec (OIIQ) required.
• Good communication in French and English.
• Customer service focused.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills are required.
• Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.
• Capable of managing multiple conflicting priorities.
• Relevant industry experience a plus.
