Job summary

Altasciences Laval is seeking an Analyst I, Laboratory (BSD) to perform bench analyses and document results in accordance with SOPs, GLP and GCP as applicable. You will conduct experiments and support method validation under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a college degree, strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, manual dexterity, and fluent French and English. This is an on-site, full-time role based in Laval, Quebec, with competitive benefits.

Ensures that analyses are performed in accordance with appropriate SOPs. **What You'll Do Here*** Responsible for experiments at the bench based on training and competencies can be assigned conduct validation and/or sample analysis.* Apply appropriately the standard operating procedure (SOP) for both method-specific and general processes and ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation.* Respect general SOPs* Complete supplementary information forms as needed to complete documentation.* Stay up to date on new SOPs, procedures, and techniques via training sessions, team meetings and internal communication avenues.* Communicate potential problems that could impact quality of the work performed in the laboratory and data reliability and discusses appropriately with line manager.* Respect Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, work procedures, as well as good laboratory practice (GLP) and good clinical practices (GCP) as applicable. **What You'll Need to Succeed*** College degree in a relevant field.* Good organizational skills.* Attentive to details.* Manual dexterity.* Good communication (both written and verbal in French & English).
