Job summary

AgeCare Glenwarren in Victoria, BC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide goal-directed, patient-centered nursing care under the Director of Care, within a supportive interdisciplinary team.

You will assess residents, implement and evaluate care plans, administer medications, educate residents and families, and support infection prevention and safety initiatives.

Relocation bonus of up to $10,000 is available to assist with relocation to rural and select communities in BC.

Qualifications

  • Current LPN registration in the applicable province.
  • Experience in senior or long-term care preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification; Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver goal-directed, patient-centered nursing care per provincial standards.
  • Assess residents, maintain care plans, and document updates.
  • Administer medications and treatments following policies and regulations.
  • Educate residents and families; participate in care conferences.
  • Coordinate with physicians and care team; support safety and infection prevention.
