Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Valleyview is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join Home Care on a casual/relief basis. You will work as part of an interprofessional health care team, providing safe, patient- and family-centered care.

The role requires completion of an accredited LPN program, current registration with CLHA and BCLS-HCP. Shifts vary; posting ends 02-NOV-2026. A remote retention allowance up to $3,000 annually is provided with an hourly pay basis.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Current or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
