Shannex Incorporated in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, is seeking a Permanent Part-Time (0.7 FTE) Client Services Coordinator (LPN) to join Parkland in the Valley - Concorde Hall.

The successful candidate will provide clinical care and unit leadership, coordinate resident needs with medical staff, administer medications, and ensure documentation and policies are followed. This role supports seniors in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• Active ANBLPN registration in NB.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• CPR & First Aid or BLS certification required.
• Ability to provide clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening.
• Excellent English; French an asset.
• Experience with elderly in long-term care/senior living is an asset.
• Passion for healthcare and seniors’ quality accommodations, services and care.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document resident needs with medical input.
• Provide clinical care and unit leadership during shifts.
• Coordinate with health services teams to ensure policy compliance.
• Administer and record prescribed medications per policy.
• Maintain accurate documentation and care plans respecting resident rights.
• Apply dressings and treatments per physician orders and policy.
• Supervise and evaluate other health care staff.

About The Opportunity

• Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, documenting and directing resident needs through consultation with medical professionals, care conferences and internal staff;
• Responsible for both clinical care and unit leadership during a shift. The role combines hands‑on nursing with coordination and supervision;
• Working with the existing management and health services teams to promote communication and compliance to policies and procedures;
• Administers and records prescribed medication as per company policy and scope of practice;
• Maintains the standards of accurate and complete documentation and reporting with respecting the resident’s right to individualized planning of health services; and updating (ie. care plans);
• Applies dressings and treatments according to physician’s orders and policy;
• Assists with supervision and evaluation of job performance and behavior of other health care staff

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

• Active registration with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses (ANBLPN);
• Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays;
• A valid CPR & First Aid or BLS Certification (required);
• Ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire;
• Advanced proficiency in the English language is required, proficiency in French considered an asset;
• Any previous course in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care to be a huge asset;
• Previous working experience with elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment an asset;
• A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
