Job summary

Alberta Health Services is actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Unit 28 Surgery team at Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert.

This front-line role involves direct patient care in a high-acuity surgical unit with a shift pattern spanning days, evenings, nights, and weekends. The successful candidate will be an active or eligible LPN with CLHA registration, BCLS-HCP, and at least two years of recent surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• Must have a minimum of 2 years recent surgical experience.

Required Qualifications:
