Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Grande Prairie is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Unit 22 - Med/Surg at Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. You will be part of an interprofessional team providing safe, patient and family-centred care guided by standards and policies.

Active or eligible for CLHA registration and a current BCLS-HCP certification are required, with recent acute inpatient experience. The role is Regular Full Time with shift patterns including days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

• Provide safe, high-quality patient- and family-centred care as part of the interprofessional team.
• Apply nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making in care delivery.
