Job summary

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is seeking a Plumber for our Nisku facility to install, maintain, and repair plumbing and HVAC-related systems in a large manufacturing environment. The role requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to work rotating day and night shifts.

Responsibilities include reviewing blueprints, addressing air and vacuum system issues, and assisting in training junior staff while ensuring accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training preferred.
• Licensed Plumber - Red Seal or AIT certified.
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
• Experience with routine maintenance operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented and professional.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing assemblies into HVAC equipment.
• Review blueprints and reflect changes to drawings as needed.
• Tend to plumbing, air, and vacuum issues to keep production running.
• Participate in construction/remodeling projects involving plumbing or gas fitting.
• Maintain and support preventive maintenance programs and safety records.
• Assist in training and supervising junior staff and apprentices.
• Set up and test HVAC equipment for proper performance.
