Job summary

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership in Nisku, Alberta, is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to support Journeypersons in a large manufacturing environment. This role requires reliable transportation and offers a Friday to Sunday night shift (6 PM - 6 AM).

You will assist with installation, maintenance and repairs of plumbing and heating systems, braze/solder copper pipe, work with PVC, use hand and power tools, and follow safety policies to maintain a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a Plumbing Apprentice in Alberta and enrolled in a recognized trade school.
• Ability to work under the supervision of Journeyperson plumbers as part of a team.
• Experience with electrical maintenance is an asset.
• Able to braze/solder copper pipe and work with PVC piping.
• Strong attention to detail and good written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyperson plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repairs in a large manufacturing environment.
• Perform brazing/soldering of copper pipe and work with PVC piping as required.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Contribute to a clean, safe work site and adhere to safety policies.
