Job summary

Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls company in Edmonton/Nisku, is hiring journeyperson plumbers for a large manufacturing setting. You’ll install, maintain and repair plumbing and heating systems, working with HVAC equipment, gas lines, water pipes and compressed air lines.

Ideal candidates have industrial plumbing credentials, a completing college program and strong maintenance skills, with the ability to read blueprints and work independently in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training preferred.
• Industrial Plumber Trade Certification and active apprenticeship progress.
• Ability to work independently in a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain plumbing systems for HVAC and manufacturing equipment.
• Review blueprints and ensure drawings reflect changes accurately.
• Tend to plumbing, air, and vacuum issues to keep production equipment running.
• Support maintenance programs and safety documentation.
