Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join Royal Drug Mart in Melville, Saskatchewan. You will transcribe prescriptions, ensure accurate dispensing, and support safe medication practices within a patient-focused care approach.

Qualifications

Licensed by Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists and in good standing with the college.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Receive and accurately transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare providers.
Ensure patient safety through accurate preparation and release of medications.
Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies.
Process prescriptions by entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, and packaging medications.
Methadone dosing preparation.
Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
Maintain confidential patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee Pharmacy Assistants to ensure efficient and safe prescription filling.
