Job summary

Kelly Services (Canada), Ltd. seeks a licensed paralegal for a Mississauga-based debt recovery practice. The role involves drafting Statements of Claims, Default Judgments, and related motions, handling both secured and unsecured collections, and interacting with clients to resolve matters.

The position offers a Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm corporate environment with a 3-month probation and benefits after probation. Teamwork and client focus are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must hold a licensed paralegal with active LSUC status.
• 1–2 years of paralegal experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt to custom built software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and draft Statements of Claims.
• Prepare and draft Default Judgments.
• Prepare Motions, AOS, and Affidavits of Enforcements.
• Garnishment follow-ups and writ filings.
• Make calls to debtors to resolve judgments.
