Job summary

Kowarsky & Company, a Vancouver downtown boutique law firm, seeks an experienced paralegal with 5+ years in British Columbia to support a robust litigation practice. Training will be provided for debt collection actions, judgments, and post-judgment work.

Qualifications include strong communication, ethics, and ability to work under deadlines. Experience with CRA or debt collection is a plus, and relocation to BC may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience in British Columbia.
• Experience with Canada Revenue Agency or debt collection is an asset.
• Willing to obtain Protected B Security Status (assistance provided).
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Prepare court documents for Small Claims and Supreme Court BC.
• Occasionally prepare bankruptcy documents for unsecured creditors.
• Learn and use Atrium for correspondence, file access, organization and timekeeping.
