Smile Esthetics in Victoria, BC, is hiring a licensed Dental Assistant with Orthodontic experience for a full-time, four-day-per-week role. You will join a caring team dedicated to high‑quality patient care, supported by modern technology and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
