Job description

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (Night Shift)

Compensation: $41.14/hour + Benefits

About the Company:

Our client is a food manufacturing facility and is one of the largest producers of cheese and other dairy products in the world.

They are expanding at a rapid rate and are seeking to take on Licensed Millwright to their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Repair, overhaul and maintain packaging & production equipment including, but not limited to, hydraulics, pneumatics and production machines, conveyors, fillers, motors & gearbox, agitators, pumps, and DC controls
• Provide technical guidance on machine set ups, and provide input into creating SOP's
• Set-up and commission of new and used equipment
• Ensure machines and equipment are in safe working condition, taking appropriate precautions to prevent risk to employees and to the product
• Comply with all health and safety standards and regulations regarding the lockout/tagout of equipment
• Fabricate parts, as necessary, utilizing maintenance shop tools and equipment
• Train new employees, as required
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid 433A millwright certificate
• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of millwrighting experience with prior experience working in a food manufacturing facility
• Must possess a strong working knowledge of maintenance on food packaging and production equipment
• Possess superior time management and problem solving skills
