Job summary

Polar Performance Materials, Oakville, Ontario, is seeking a licensed 433A Industrial Millwright to join our maintenance team in a high-purity manufacturing environment. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations, with exposure to electrical components as needed.

The role requires hands-on, safety-focused work, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a commitment to quality and compliance with Canadian codes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Millwright (433A) with 3+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems is an asset.
• Strong safety awareness in a corrosive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical systems.
• Perform alignment, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective actions.
• Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and schedules.
