Job description

We are seeking a 433A Certified Industrial Millwright to support maintenance operations at a processing facility in Ontario. This role requires strong hands‑on experience with pumps, rotating equipment, welding, and industrial mechanical systems in a heavy process environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair centrifugal and positive displacement pumps (gear, progressive cavity, reciprocating, auger/screw)
• Perform pump rebuilds, mechanical seal and bearing replacements, and equipment alignment
• Maintain centrifuges and dewatering equipment
• Work with industrial piping systems and valves (gate, check, butterfly valves, valve vaults)
• Perform stick/arc welding and basic fabrication
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Read and interpret P&ID drawings
• Follow strict safety procedures, including LOTO and confined space protocols

Requirements

• 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certification
• Strong experience with industrial pump systems and rotating equipment
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Knowledge of piping, valves, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to work in an industrial organics processing environment with heavy process conditions

Schedule

• Typical schedule is Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Shift rotations may occur depending on operational needs

Overtime

• Overtime opportunities may be available, including after regular shift hours and on weekends, depending on operational requirements
